NASA Authorization
Last week the House voted to pass the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Transition Authorization Act of 2017. This bill builds on years of NASA's tremendous work and significant efforts by the House and Senate science and space committees. I am especially excited about its affirmation of Congressional support for the American Journey to Mars, integration of unmanned aircraft systems into our airspace, and the continuation of aeronautics research initiatives like the new X-Plane projects. NASA is, has always been, and should always be a multi-mission agency with the resources to push the boundaries of our understanding of flight and space science, and to give us the technology to go ever farther and faster.

Going to Bat for B-21
On Thursday I testified before the House Committee on Appropriations Defense Subcommittee in support of the B-21 Raider, which is essential to modernizing our national security and will be built largely in the Antelope Valley. Watch it here
